How does the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Only work?

Listing with Coverage Realty using our MLS only system is almost the same as hiring a full-service agency to represent you and the sale of your home. Your property is put into the MLS in the exact same way as all of the other listings. This ensures that your property is MARKETED to all of the real estate agents who are working with buyers who would be interested in a home like yours.

In addition to the MLS where will my home be marked?

Your home will be marketed on many 3rd party websites: ZILLOW, TRULIA, REALTOR.COM, and many many more. This ensures that your home will be MARKETED to all of the buyers looking for their next home.

How long will it take to get my home listed and live on the market?

It will be live on the market within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of all paperwork and photos.

What paperwork is needed to get started?

In addition to the links provided you will need to sign a Limited service agreement and limited service Agency (both required by The State of Michigan). All Paperwork will be electronically signed.

Will I be communicated with directly by Agents and Buyers?

Yes, your name, phone number and email will be right in the listing

How will people have access to my home?

Will Coverage Realty provide support?

Yes, we provide email support that pertains to listing the property and we will respond to most inquiries within 24 hours.

How will I receive offers on my property?

The buyer or buyer’s agent will send the offer and other required paperwork via email (99.9% of the time). You will be responsible for reviewing any offers and accompanying paperwork and deciding on whether to accept, reject or counter. We DO NOT provide any support in regard to offer review or advice.

Can my listing go on the MLS without a Real Estate Agent?

No, only a licensed broker can place a listing on the MLS

Will the buyer's agent be reluctant to show my property using the MLS only program?

No, It is our position that if your property is priced correctly it SELLS!!

When is the MLS ONLY fee paid?

It is paid when you sign up for the service and the fee is nonrefundable.
